9 Ways to be Happy and Make Something of your life by Gordon B . Hinckley
1. Grateful
Grateful is a feeling or showing an appreciation of kindness. For example someone helps you to do something that you need help on. When you are done with what they were helping you , you are thankful for them to help you. Then you will feel more grateful because you told them thank you for taking their time of there day to help you out. You also could show grateful towards others too. One way you could show them that you are grateful is by helping others. Choosing the right when other people need help, help them if you know what they are doing. If you help at the end of the day the person that you helped will be grateful for your help. Not only that but you will be happy that you help around instead of waiting your time at home or just not doing nothing. You also show that you are grateful by telling your family or friends that you love them . Tell yourself that you are grateful for what you have . If you are grateful you will live better. You will have a more happy life then what your life already is.
2.Be Smart
Be smart is that you have to have or show a witted intelligence. Being smart is always choosing the right. There is always going to be obstacle in your life. The only job that you will have to do is be smart to pick which ones are good for you. For example you have a big test for one class at school you have.Then your friends invite you what would you pick stay home getting more prepared for your test or go out with your friends. Then you will have to choose to stay home or keep on studying because you are smart and you know that little more time you took to study will help you more. You will live better if you do right things. You could help others or go volunteer to help people. Do your day active by helping others not by just staying at home and just not doing nothing. Other way is by helping the community you could go to parks or beaches to clean and make the environment much better. If you are smart you will set goals and then you will try to achieve them to the best of your ability.
3.Be involved
Being involve is difficult to comprehend. In other words you get more into things. For example you could be involved in school. If you like school you would like to be involved by learn. You are going to put effort in everything you do. You could also show that you are involve in helping around your community by helping around. You could go clean public places to show that you you want to help the community. You could also just go volunteer help the older people in the community. Another example is just help around in you need to get done during the day.Like if you need to go to a meeting just go. You will get more involve. If you be more involve you will learn more. People will like you more because you are always there involved in everything.
4. Be clean
Being clean is that you are away from dirt, stains, and marks. Off course another way by being clean is being good all the time. When you do something for example bad. You are not clean because you did a bad mistake. Simple as that if you are good you are clean. If you are always bad you will always not be clean. When you do a good act you will feel much better. In the other hand if you do bad things like drug you will just feel more bad then what you do. You choose good always there will be a feeling that you did bad. You are not going to feel sorry for the good things you do for others or yourself. Choose the right path. Always choose clean friends that will help you become a better person. Don't choose dirty people that are going to make you do bad things to.
5.Be true
Being true is accordance with fact or reality. If you are honest you will feel better. Instead of just putting more and more lies to the list. When you talk and be honest you will feel much better . Don't be telling lies because you will feel much worse. For example if you do things that you are not suppose to do. Then they see who started it. The right choice is to tell the true. Say it and be honest, say that your the one that did the problem. Take responsibilities for you actions. Another example is if someone close to you does something wrong and they tell you to not because they might get into trouble. The right thing to do is to tell the true. The right thing to do is if they did something wrong they have to a responsibility for what they have done. You then should not feel bad because you did it because you care for them don't because you don't like them. In the other had if we don't lie we will live better.
6. Be positive
Being positive is with no possibility of doubt. Positive is a good word to use in your everyday life. You could use that word by thinking that every thing well be fine today during the day. Also show a positive attitude during the day. For example if you are going to take a test that day. Think that you are going to do okay , don't think that you are going to get a bad grade.Another example is do good things during the day. Help other people and be a better you. Do be in the house doing nothing . Go for a walk at the park or read a book. There is so many thing you could do that are positive . Stay positive always and you will always feel much better because you are choosing the right.
7.Be humble
Being humble is to have or show a modest or low estimate of one's own importance. A way to be humble is to always be respectful. Never do something negative always try to be on the positive side. Also you always have to think positive about yourself . Too be confident is also a way to be humble. There are many ways to stay humble you just need to find those ways. Be asking for feedback don't think that you can't ask for help. Ask a lot of questions will make you humble. It is always good to ask a lot of questions and to get more involve. Being humble is to put a need of another person before yours. This is good because you have a heart to help people. So instead of helping yourself you will help other people. Lastly start the conversations with questions and always do right and right will come to you.
8. Be still
Being still is to not move just staying still. For example you might be picking the great choice if you stay a little more still. Let stay you are about to do something wrong. Then you stay still a little more longer and you realize what you were going to do was a bad thing. So you end up not doing it and you save yourself from the trouble you were going to get into. If you are calm with life better things will come to you. For example if you are having trouble with something you are not going to get mad with yourself because you can't do it. You are to stay still and think that you could do it and you try it again you will probably get it this time. Another example is if you have bad grades. You see them and your not happy with them so you stay still to see what you did wrong and why. You learned after all that you have to be more into school and into you work. If we stay still we will have a way more unstressed life.

I learn to be a better person. I learned to be more positive about things. For example if I have a problem. To solve the problem I have to stay calm. Don't solve problems in a bad way. Try to always stay on a positive side and try to talk things out. Another thing that I learn is to keep clean. We have to try to keep the world clean. We as people try to always clean the environment. You could do this with simple ways just by picking up trash. Or you just have to be more clean and throw your trash. We just have to follow the 9 ways to be better and always choose the right.
